Costume Play
Tenshi's degree is in actually in costume design: the kind of solid educational foundation that assures a young woman a steady career in mid-tier mall retail. Luckily, it makes up in hobby skills what it lacks in resume-building. We first cosplayed together as Lady Kyra and Mia at Otakon in 1998, but from there we've moved on from wearing hot-glued car floormats to wearing bits of craft foam covered in paint.
